It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Ethiopian Police University (EPU), a premier institution committed to excellence in police education, training, research, and community service. Established as Aba Dina Police College in 1946 and attaining university status in 2020, EPU has remained dedicated to developing competent, ethical, and service-oriented police leaders and professionals equipped to address the evolving security challenges of Ethiopia and beyond. Guided by our motto, “Protect with Courage; Serve with Compassion,” we strive to uphold and promote the values of integrity, professionalism, respect for diversity, and respect for human rights in every aspect of our work.

At EPU, we integrate academic excellence with practical police training, research, innovation, and community engagement. Through modern teaching approaches, specialized training, and strategic partnerships, we are strengthening our capacity to meet national and international standards in professional development.
