It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Ethiopian Police University (EPU), a premier institution dedicated to excellence in police education, training, research, and community service.

Since its establishment as Aba Dina Police College in 1946 and its transformation into a university in 2020, Ethiopian Police University has remained committed to producing competent, ethical, and service-oriented police leaders and professionals who are equipped to address the evolving security challenges of our nation and beyond. Guided by our motto, “Protect with Courage; Serve with Compassion,” we strive to cultivate integrity, professionalism, respect for diversity, and respect for human rights in every aspect of our work.

Our University combines academic excellence with practical police training, innovation, and research to prepare graduates who can effectively serve their communities while upholding the rule of law. Through modern teaching methods, specialized training programs, and strategic partnerships, we continue to strengthen our capacity to meet national and international standards in police education.
